The Discipline of Greatness pathway studies virtue, habit, standards, responsibility and long-term judgment. The Lost Lesson pathway studies opportunity cost, incentives, institutions, incidence, social capital and policy evaluation. They meet in questions about responsibility, useful work and the consequences of choices. Neither course requires treating a personal habit as a complete economic theory or an economic model as a complete account of a person.
